Flowcharts are a tool that is used to define, analyze,
document, and design various stages of production and planning. In the most
rudimentary form, a flowchart is a diagram that is used to represent the flow

How Flowcharts Can Assist Developers in Software Development
Ever since Frank and Lillian Gilbreth gave the presentation
Process Charts: First Steps in Finding the One Best Way to do Work, to members
of the American Society of Mechanical Engineers
(ASME) in 1921. Every major development has been using flowcharts in their
processes ever since. As computers started to become more software then
hardware, developers started using flowcharts to make their work much easier and
controllable. A flowchart is a tool that is used in design, development,
analyzing the process of programs in an easily understandable pictorial form.
